Shields and the free slot
Free slot
One small community can be protected for free:
- a group stays free while it has up to 300 members;
- a channel discussion stays free while the linked channel has fewer than 1000 subscribers.
Additional communities, and communities that outgrow these limits, use Shields.
Shields
Shields are TG Warden protection units. Paid communities are charged daily. The price depends on community size:
- 5 Shields / day — small paid communities;
- 10 Shields / day — medium communities;
- 15 Shields / day — large communities.
Base protection for one community does not go above about 15 Shields / day.
You buy Shield packages with Telegram Stars through Wardy.
Important
Only one selected community uses the free slot. Everything else that needs paid protection consumes Shields.
