Owner vs admin roles
TG Warden distinguishes the Telegram owner (creator) of a community from admins who help manage it.
Owner
- activates Wardy with
/activate; - controls enabling and disabling protection for the community;
- manages billing-related choices for protected communities, including the free slot;
- has full access to community settings and sensitive actions reserved for owners.
Admin
- helps configure most protection settings in the panel;
- uses moderation commands in the chat;
- reviews and resolves incidents according to permissions;
- cannot replace the owner for activation and some owner-only actions.
Important
If /activate does nothing, confirm that the person running it is the Telegram group owner.
