Moderation commands

Moderation commands are used in the group as a reply to the offender’s message (unless a command is meant only to lift a restriction).

Common commands

  • /warn [reason] — warn the user
    Example: /warn flood
  • /mute <duration> [reason] — mute for a period
    Example: /mute 1h flood
    Duration examples: 10m, 1h, 2d
  • /ban [duration] [reason] — ban permanently or temporarily
    Examples: /ban spam, /ban 2d spam
  • /del — delete the replied message
  • /delmute <duration> [reason] — delete and mute
    Example: /delmute 10m flood
  • /delban [duration] [reason] — delete and ban
    Example: /delban 1h spam
  • unmute / unban — lift a mute or ban when needed
  • /report — report a message for moderator review

Wardy must remain an admin with permission to delete messages and restrict members for these actions to work.

Important

Punishment commands must be sent as a reply to the offender’s message.

Tip

Prefer clear short reasons. They help other moderators understand incidents later.
